Salary
The salary for this position is $120,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of attracting top talent in the field. This remuneration package includes a competitive base salary, along with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Farm Manager to lead our farm team at the Southern Dairy Hub. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering excellent farm performance, with a strong focus on cows and grass management. Additionally, they should have a commitment to best practice animal health, environmental sustainability, and people management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving physical and financial farm performance, while fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Your expertise will enable us to maintain our position as a leading centre of excellence for dairy farming research and extension.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
  • A strong background in dairy farming, preferably with experience in managing large-scale operations
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional farm performance, including cow and grass management
  • Commitment to best practice animal health, environmental sustainability, and people management
