**Job Summary**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our OT team as a Therapeutic Services Manager.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the Tangaroa Activity Centre and developing programs that provide a safe, relaxed, and sociable atmosphere for clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily activities at the Tangaroa Activity Centre
  • Develop programs in consultation with the team leader and OT expert
  • Liaise with sessional workers and other agencies
  • Invite and encourage MDT participation in programs

About the Team/Service/Location

You will work closely with the Te Korowai-Whariki (TKW) Occupational Therapy expert and your line manager as part of the TKW OT team.

The team has a supportive culture that values new ideas and service planning.

Tangaroa is a hub for all units on campus, so you will work daily alongside another OT team member.

About You

We are looking for someone who is motivated to meet service initiatives, optimize program delivery, and have a creative flair to make the environment welcoming for clients.

Key requirements include practicing in a culturally safe manner, being respectful and able to collaborate with colleagues and MDT members, having excellent communication skills, and experience working in mental health and rehabilitation settings.
