The Role
We have a part-time permanent vacancy available for a hardworking and reliable individual to work as a Medical Laboratory Pre-Analytical Technician in our Specimen Services team. As a member of our dynamic and culturally diverse team, you will contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services to our community.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Rostered shifts across North Shore Hospital and Waitakere Hospital laboratories
- Contribute to specimen collection, processing, and delivery in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with our team to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient laboratory operations
Your Requirements
- Medical Sciences (MS) Council of New Zealand registration or willingness to work towards MS Council registration as a Medical Laboratory Pre-Analytical Technician
- New Zealand residency or citizenship
- NZ drivers license
- Experience and skill in Specimen Services tasks
- Knowledge of the Delphic Explorer application is an advantage
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent data entry skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. You should be able to multitask, work calmly under pressure, communicate effectively, and follow procedures with minimal supervision. If you are self-motivated, able to work independently, and committed to delivering high-quality results, we encourage you to apply.
