Job Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Kaiwaka Depot. The successful candidate will work on a variety of heavy vehicle brands, including Volvo, MAN, Scania, BCI, and Mitsubishi. Key responsibilities include proactive and active maintenance, including COF inspections and day-to-day maintenance and repairs on diesel and petrol motors.

Your Skills and Experience

  • NZQA L4 Heavy Automotive Qualification or equivalent automotive workshop experience
  • Current New Zealand Drivers' License Class 1 (ideally up to C4)
  • Excellent mechanical skills and ability to diagnose faults
  • Strong written and spoken English language skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
