About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated individual to provide supplementary academic support to students enrolled in the NZ Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) course. This is a fully remote position that allows you to teach from anywhere in New Zealand while helping students build their technical knowledge and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct structured online sessions to reinforce key course concepts, using interactive teaching methods to enhance student understanding.
• Host open Q&A sessions to assist students with coursework and assignments.
• Provide focused resubmission support by guiding students in understanding feedback and improving their work.
• Engage with at-risk and disengaged learners through personalized study plans and outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with class tutors to align on student needs, participate in weekly meetings, and document key student challenges.

Required Skills/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Professional background/experience in IT Support/Help Desk or another related IT field is essential. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and online teaching tools effectively.
