Position Summary

Tangram seeks a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery assembly and cabinet making, with the ability to apply wet spray finishes as a bonus.

This role requires someone who is reliable, possesses excellent time management skills, communicates effectively, and is conscientious about health and safety standards.

Key Tasks:

  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build cabinets and other products.
  • Operate machinery such as saws, drills, and sanders safely and efficiently.
  • Apply wet spray finishes on cabinet components as required.
  • Communicate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a joiner or cabinet maker.
  • Ability to apply wet spray finishes, a definite plus.
  • Strong knowledge of techniques, materials, and tools used in cabinet making.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Clear communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and quality in workmanship.
  • Health and safety conscious attitude.
  • Physical fitness to lift heavy materials.
