The Role

This leadership position reports to the Group Director Operations and works in collaboration with other Group Managers and multidisciplinary partners to deliver high-quality integrated care to patients. The ideal candidate will lead collaborative transformational change that operationalises national and regional priorities, embedding district-wide delivery of innovative business models and processes.

As a champion of change, growth, and development, you will be responsible for fostering and supporting a multi-disciplinary approach to the management and development of health services across our Districts and the regional and national health systems. You must have:

  • A tertiary qualification in health or significant project management experience
  • Experience leading large-scale change in complex environments, preferably in the health sector
  • An intellectual and practical understanding of the importance of, and commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and experience in applying its principles
  • Previous experience at a senior management level of not less than 2 years
