The Retail Director will maintain a retail team structure, crafting adjustments as required, ensuring sales and operational functions are Best In Class.

This role requires a deep understanding of the New Zealand retail market, direct and indirect competition, and new ways for customers to interact with brick-and-mortar retail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a retail team structure and craft adjustments as required.
  • Oversee recruitment for all retail team members.
  • Lead succession planning, representation, and diversity strategies for the retail team.
  • Contribute to company-wide training strategy.
  • Meet expectations as defined in the Manager's Handbook.
  • Finesse and oversee performance management and disciplinary processes.
