Role Overview

The Junior Writer will play a key role in producing high-quality content that showcases Datacom's stories and values. This includes creating engaging digital content, such as written copy, videos, and audio, to support our brand communications and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Senior Content Editor and content producers to develop content strategies that align with key business objectives and marketing focus areas.
  • Produce a range of editorial content, including short-form and long-form digital content, based on interviews with internal and external stakeholders where required.
  • Support the Head of Social Media's content requirements, drafting post copy and capturing content/photos for use on Datacom social channels.
  • Omitimize content to align with SEO strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A university degree in Journalism or Communications (or similar).
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging digital content.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work at pace and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated passion for excellence within the team, including a culture of continual learning.
