We seek a Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in Auckland CBD, reporting to both Group Head of Legal – Supply Chain and Distribution and Group Head Of Legal – IP, Marketing and Science. This role involves providing timely legal and compliance advice to the business while protecting our global market interests.

  • Take a key role in supply chain transformation initiatives, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and other documents.
  • Provide expert advice on corporate, regulatory, compliance, governance, disputes, and litigation matters.
  • Lead projects across NZ and overseas markets, managing external legal advisors as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A law degree and current New Zealand Law Society Practicing Certificate.
  • At least 6 years of contract drafting and negotiation experience.
  • Knowledge of FMCG, supply chain issues, manufacturing/food processing, and anti-trust laws.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and drive positive outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly to non-legal colleagues.
