Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Operations Manager to join our team in Taranaki. As a key member of our Transportation Operations team, you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and implementing transportation operations across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing transportation operations plans, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies;
- Maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and regulatory bodies;
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in transportation operations, preferably in a construction or transportation environment;
- A strong understanding of relevant legislation and industry standards, including the New Zealand Guide to Traffic Management;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
