Role Overview
Oceania Healthcare is reimagining the retirement and aged care living experience in New Zealand. As an Activities Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides exceptional care and enriches the lives of our residents.

About the Role
This full-time position involves working closely with our Diversional Therapist to create and implement engaging activities programs for our residents. You will understand their needs and abilities, encouraging them to participate in various activities while ensuring a safe environment following company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate activities with the Diversional Therapist
* Understand residents' needs and abilities
* Create a safe environment by following company policies and procedures
* Collaborate with the team to achieve resident engagement goals

Requirements
* Previous experience in planning and coordinating activities
* Excellent communication and IT skills
* Great people skills with empathy for the elderly
* A vibrant and energetic personality
* Flexible multitasking skills
* Ability to work weekends
* Full working rights in New Zealand
