**About the Job:**

We are seeking an experienced Intake Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with applicants to guide them through the process of identifying their specific legal issue and connecting them with available resources. Your ability to communicate effectively and empathize with others will be essential in creating a positive experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our eligibility guidelines and service areas.
  • Demonstrate cultural responsiveness and emotional intelligence during information-gathering conversations with applicants.
  • Guide applicants to identify their specific legal issue and share relevant information.
  • Refer eligible applicants for legal advice, brief services, or full representation, in accordance with our disposition instructions.
  • Ensure complete and accurate data entry into case management systems and client files.

Requirements:

  • An Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification, and/or commensurate experience.
  • At least one year of experience in legal support, paralegal work, intake specialist roles, or other relevant positions.
  • Able to work independently, managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
