About the Role:

In this critical position, you will play a vital role in supporting our Orthodontists by providing top-notch patient care, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Orthodontists during treatments by handling various tasks, including preparing patients and maintaining equipment.
  • Maintain open communication with patients, addressing their queries and resolving any concerns they may have.
  • Ensure that all instruments and appliances are properly cleaned, sterilized, and set up for use.
  • Prepare tooth impressions and participate in the attachment of brackets, bands, and wires under the guidance of the Orthodontist.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ordering supplies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to relevant laws and regulations regarding patient records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Prior experience in dental assisting is highly valued.
  • Obligatory certifications include state-mandated requirements for working as an orthodontic assistant and DANB RHS certification for radiographs.
  • A current CPR certification is also necessary.
