- This is a long-term, full-time position with a guaranteed 80 hours of work per fortnight.
- You will be compensated with an on-call allowance, ensuring your hard work is recognized and rewarded.

As a consultant psychiatrist, you will:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the Community Assessment Team.
- Contribute to the development of a consultation-liaison service grounded in evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with whānau, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive patient care.
We seek a dedicated professional who can bring their psychiatric expertise to improve mental health outcomes for adults in the region.
- Possession of Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent is required.
- Eligibility for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand is mandatory.
- Significant experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment interventions for individuals with mental health and addictive disorders is essential.
