About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team at Move Logistics Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to transport materials, goods, and products within our warehouse or site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a forklift to move materials, goods, and products within a warehouse or site.
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks and containers.
  • Inventory Management: Organizing and storing products in designated warehouse or site locations.
  • Assisting with inventory control and stock rotation, ensuring products are easy to access.
  • Performing regular checks to ensure stock levels are correct.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Conducting daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Following safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Accurately documenting all goods received, moved, or dispatched.
  • Recording any damages or issues encountered during operations and reporting them to supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Working alongside other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
  • Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and managers to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift operator certification (required).
  • Proven experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
