As a Senior Medical Officer in our General Medicine department, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of junior doctors. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a strong focus on professional development and collaboration.
Key Features of the Role:
- Leading a team of junior doctors in the general medicine department
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and efficient patient care
- Providing educational support to junior doctors and contributing to the development of our inter-disciplinary team
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and internal continuing medical education programs
About the Service
Our hospital is a vibrant and modernized 50-bed secondary hospital, offering a range of services including emergency care, inpatient medicine, day case surgery, infusion units, rehabilitation services, and low-acuity mental health beds. We have 24-hour laboratory and radiology services, including CT imaging, and offer training opportunities for medical students and registrars.
