Job Overview: As a Casual Programme Assistant, you will contribute to delivering our programme activities and ensuring the well-being of our children. You will be responsible for supervising and assisting children during activities, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and collaborating with our Programme Manager to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children in programme activities and ensure their safety and well-being
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, hygienic, and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with the Programme Manager to plan and deliver daily activities
  • Report any concerns or issues regarding children's behavior to the Programme Manager

Work Environment: You will be based at one of our three locations: Saint Francis School, Newtown, Holy Cross Miramar, or other nearby sites. We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to commute to these locations as needed.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid visa to work in New Zealand without restrictions, be able to commute to our sites, and have a keen interest in working with children. Previous experience working with children, either through babysitting or volunteering, is highly desirable.
