About the Role

Abi Rehab is a leader in the field of brain injury rehabilitation in New Zealand, providing community-based rehabilitation for individuals of all ages.

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our team as a Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist. This full-time position will involve working alongside clients and their families to provide community-based rehabilitation services.

The successful applicant will have a special interest in concussion, traumatic brain injury, community rehabilitation, and/or paediatrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans for clients with acquired brain injuries or other neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on safe and effective rehabilitation practices.
Requirements
  • NZ registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate and driver's license.
  • 1-2 years' experience in neurology, and/or community-based rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
