Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician Leader

As a Water / Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, you'll play a crucial role in achieving this goal. Your duties will include:
- Monitoring and reviewing treatment plant process performance.
- Conducting routine checks and adjustments to ensure drinking water compliance and wastewater treatment meets consent conditions.
- Maintaining accurate records and uploading task completion to an online database.
- Performing standard operating procedures and receiving chemicals.
- Assisting in the development and review of SOPs.
- Participating in an out-of-hours callout roster for emergency coverage (including night and weekend work).
You'll need strong analytical skills, a full driving license, and a positive can-do attitude.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in data analysis, plant processes, and report preparation. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and asset databases is essential. A National Certificate and/or Diploma in Water or Wastewater Treatment would be beneficial, along with technical or trades qualifications in a relevant discipline.
