About our group and team
The Corporate group is responsible for delivering essential Ministry-wide statutory and corporate functions. We enable the organisation to operate effectively and help fulfil the statutory and reporting obligations of Te Tahuhu.
The Employee Services team provides first line Human Resources advice and support, administers Ministry payroll processes, general and complex advice to people leaders, and specialist employment relations advice.
This role involves working closely with the Employee Services team and other stakeholders to achieve results. You will be comfortable and adept in managing competing demands and stakeholder management.
Job Description
As a Senior HR Generalist, you will bring a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. You will be able to manage competing demands and priorities, and you will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist with significant experience operating at a senior level.
- Deep knowledge and practical expertise across multiple technical areas of HR generalist portfolios.
- Strong relationships with stakeholders, including at senior leadership level.
