Community Mental Health Specialist

About the Role
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team in a rural community.
As a Social Worker, you will provide assessment and treatment for people with acute or enduring mental illness in the community.
You will hold a caseload of approximately 25 people as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
The MDT includes clinicians who visit weekly or fortnightly - occupational therapy, clinical psychology & Kaitakawaenga.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise, prioritise and manage a caseload including the documentation associated with this.
- Clear communication with MDT, wider team and community partners.
- Be a DAO or have an interest in becoming one.
- Practice with a tangata whaiora and whanau centred approach and be a strong advocate for best practice.
