About the Role
Clinical Nurse Specialists are highly respected for their advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in infusion therapy. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide expert leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless transitions between primary and secondary care.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an expert practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, and leader within the Infusion Therapy specialty
  • Deliver independent, advanced clinical care across various settings, including inpatient and community environments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Strengthen partnerships between primary and secondary care to ensure smooth transitions and early interventions for patients

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current practicing certificate in New Zealand
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing or relevant clinical specialty (preferable)
  • Extensive clinical knowledge and experience in Infusion Therapy, recognized nationally and internationally as a specialist
  • Strong communication, empathy, and adaptability skills to coach and educate diverse individuals
