Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces as needed.
• Mix and match paint to achieve the desired color and texture.
• Operate spray guns and other painting equipment efficiently and safely.
• Apply primer, paint, and clear coats evenly to vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections and perform touch-ups or corrections as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Keep inventory of paint supplies and equipment; notify management of any shortages or necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and equipment.
• Manage efficient and effective workflow in the workshop.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an automotive spray painter or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of automotive paint products and application techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to painting operations.
• Good physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
