Kings Country Pet Food is a rapidly growing manufacturing business with a strong focus on supplying high-quality products to the global market. We are looking for a talented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the forecasting, demand planning, and packaging and consumables inventory management. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, R&D, and quality and compliance, to ensure the production team meets commercial requirements and maximises efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the forecasting, demand planning, and packaging and consumables inventory management.
  2. Negotiate cost-effective deals and contracts with suppliers.
  3. Balance customer demand and orders with raw material availability, capacity, and customer requirements.
  4. Engage with operations, sales, R&D, and quality and compliance teams.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in inventory management and supply chain.
  2. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  3. Ability to self-manage and develop the procurement strategy for a growing company.
  4. Tertiary qualification and experience within a pet food or food manufacturing business.
  5. Meticulous, analytical, precise, and data-driven approach.
  6. Familiarity with ERP/SRM systems and planning concepts.
  7. Confidence in leading and influencing people across the business.
