About the Opportunity

You will be part of Tangram's Technology Group, reporting to a Technical Lead within our Platform Engineering Team. The Technology Group is responsible for delivering technology solutions for our external and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Designing and developing assigned software products and services.
  2. Working closely with your Technical Lead to deliver fit-for-purpose software solutions.

About the Team

Tangram's Technology Group is a dynamic environment where you'll work closely with fellow engineers, business analysts, and DevOps specialists in an agile delivery team.

In this role, you will be part of a supportive team who enjoy the work they do. You will confidently demonstrate:

  1. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience as an application developer/engineer in a large and complex environment.
  2. Degree qualified, preferably in computer science or software development.
  3. A strong understanding of software design principles and patterns, with experience in cloud development (preferably AWS), SaaS, CI/CD, IaC, and Serverless.
  4. Proficient in NodeJS, Microsoft .NET Core, REST, Terraform, NUnit, SQL, GitHub, and PostgreSQL.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to show initiative and judgment.
  6. The ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents.
  7. The ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications.
  8. The ability to work independently and with the minimum of supervision.
  9. Experience in creating technical documentation of designs and solutions.
  10. Good interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, ability to communicate with users as well as technical staff.
  11. An enthusiastic approach to using modern technologies for innovative problem-solving.
  12. A flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure for specific periods and maintain performance and meet tight deadlines.
  13. Experience with RabbitMQ, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, Auth0, JMeter, Snyk, and Postman would be a benefit.
