Fatdaddyslive, a renowned manufacturer of high-performance vehicles, is seeking an experienced Automotive Fabrication Specialist to join their team in Mansfield. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for building, modifying, and restoring high-performance cars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate models and fixtures from metal, wood, and plastic materials with precision and attention to detail
  • Cut materials within tight tolerances to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Maintain up-to-date prints and engineering changes to ensure compliance with corporate standards
  • Identify and correct non-conformances found during inspection to prevent delays
  • Collaborate with managers to address any issues affecting project timing or quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in automotive and mechanical fabrication is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are required
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet program deadlines
  • Machining experience with equipment such as bridgeport, manual lathe, shear, and press brake is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions quickly and efficiently

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Quickly make coordinated movements with hands and arms to grasp and manipulate objects
  • Exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously over time to maintain productivity
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and wear protective attire at all times
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required for up to 3 consecutive nights
