**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Manufacturing Engineer II to join our production team at Rocket Lab's site in Auckland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing improvements to the production process within a high-growth, high-consequence production environment. You will help drive manufacturing excellence by improving build rate and product yield.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the production team to achieve required production rates with the right quality
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Analyze and resolve production issues to ensure timely delivery of products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and processes
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Experience with electrical hardware systems, PCBA Assemblies, or instrumentation and control systems
- Strong understanding of production quality metrics and statistical process control
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
