Job Description

This role offers opportunities to work across the entire Waikeria site, including pre-existing units, new build units, and the purpose-built mental health facility. As part of our team, you will provide secondary mental health psychological services, including triage, assessment, and treatment, grounded in evidence-based and culturally responsive practices.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality psychological services to support the well-being of our clients
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives and programs to support the mental health needs of our clients

Requirements

  • A degree in psychology or a related field
  • Registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board
  • Experience working in mental health settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
