About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Extrastaff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scoping, coordinating, planning, and executing the delivery of a range of projects for clients in various sectors.

You will operate with the best interests of our clients in mind, working on residential, education, hospitality, healthcare, technology, utility, environmental, and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable running multiple projects simultaneously, with the support of capable management and dedicated support.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with stability and a stack of projects. You will work alongside high-profile builders on career-defining projects, with the opportunity to start immediately. Key Responsibilities:

  • Scoping, coordinating, planning, and executing project delivery
  • Operating with the best interests of clients in mind
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborating with capable management and dedicated support
  • Working on a range of projects in various sectors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project or Construction Management
  • 2-8 years' experience in Project Management, ideally on the clientside
  • Demonstrated ability in delivering successful projects on time and on budget
  • Commercially savvy with a collaborative mindset
  • Sound NZ Construction knowledge, ideally with NZIA & NZS contracts
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work on New Zealand projects with a portfolio that reflects your skillset
  • Natural leader with superb time management and organisational skills
  • Understanding of OH&S and adherence to strict safety on site
