Tangram is seeking an experienced and skilled Civil Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our civil construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our construction sites.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role within the civil sector, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising and conducting daily safety briefings
  • Liaising with project managers to ensure priorities, programmes, and materials are aligned
  • Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring they meet their scope of work
  • Maintaining high safety standards on site, including regular audits
  • Keeping accurate records of staffing levels, weather conditions, incidents, progress, and delays

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within the civil sector
  • Proven ability in drainage, earthworks, and civil sites
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Full Class 1 driver's licence (Class 2/WTR endorsements a bonus)
