About the Role

We are seeking expressions of interest for a Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering exciting, large-scale projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in project management, site investigation, and technical review.

Responsibilities
  • Develop construction plans and manage project execution to ensure timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Conduct thorough site investigations, analyze data, and oversee technical reviews and inspections to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, partners, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage scheduling, planning, survey, procurement, and QHSE planning and compliance to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Track progress, report on project status, and manage budgets and regulatory compliance to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Handle cost control, stakeholder management, and contribute to company culture by promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Mentor team members and promote team success through knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a Project Engineer role in NZ, UK, or Australia.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
  • Skill in managing large, complex civil projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
  • Expertise in project delivery, including surveying and permits.
  • Able to read drawings, plans, and Inspection Test Plans.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use benchmarks for permanent works.
