Taura Natural Ingredients is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of functional fruit ingredients for top snack producers. Our dynamic team is looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead to assist in the management of our warehouse operations and related activities.

Job Description

The Warehouse Lead will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse functions, including stock receipting, storage, inventory management, customer dispatches, container export coordination, stock takes, and warehouse team management. This role interacts with internal departments and external service providers, ensuring smooth business operations on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a deputy to the Warehouse Supervisor, overseeing the warehouse team and duties when the supervisor is away or requiring support.
  • Evaluate and ensure accurate completion of inwards goods receipts and outwards customer dispatches in a timely manner.
  • Assist in managing product storage to maintain integrity, compliance, and space optimisation.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate stock control at all times.
  • Prepare raw materials for production accurately.
  • Liaise with freight and storage providers to establish effective processes and solid business partnerships.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal departments such as Sales, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably in food production.
  • Leadership skills, with confidence and clarity in communication.
  • People management experience.
  • Forklift operation experience, ideally with F & D endorsement and OSH forklift certificate.
  • MPI Biosecurity Approved person certificate advantageous.
  • Experience using ERP and inventory management systems.
  • Clean, current NZ full Driver's License.
  • A solutions-focused approach, with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
