We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team at Nurse Maude Care Home as a Care Home Support Worker. In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents with their daily needs, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.
- Support residents with their daily personal care needs, including bathing, showering, dressing, undressing, and grooming.
- Assist residents with mobilisations, transfers, and toileting requirements, prioritising safety and independence.
- Help residents with their food and fluid requirements, ensuring they are well-nourished and hydrated.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A valid New Zealand Working Visa.
- Availability to work one of the listed roster shifts.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or similar role preferred but not essential.
- Compassionate and patient, with a commitment to providing the highest standard of care.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong and positive communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
