We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Product Writer to join our Ecommerce team on a fixed-term basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality digital content that engages our customers and drives sales.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and a keen eye for detail. They will be able to write compelling product descriptions and website copy that accurately reflects our brand values and meets the needs of our customers.

About the Role:

  1. Write, edit, and proofread product descriptions and website copy for banners and assets.
  2. Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create visually appealing content.
  3. Ensure that we are advertising the right offers at the right time to the right customers.
  4. Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improving content quality and performance.
  5. Merchandise assigned categories and search terms to optimise sales.
  6. Work closely with the Buying and Marketing teams.
  7. Use analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven improvements.

About You:

  1. Proven experience in content editing, asset loading, or a similar role in ecommerce or digital marketing.
  2. Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  3. Familiarity with basic HTML and digital design principles (a plus but not essential).
  4. Meticulous attention to detail.
  5. Outstanding people skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
