Master Tradesperson

As a key member of Awf New Zealand's team, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of high-quality residential and commercial building projects. To be successful in this position, you should possess formal qualifications in carpentry or a related building trade, as well as a minimum of 4 years' experience as a qualified Builder/Carpenter, preferably in both residential and commercial construction.

Strong working knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction best practices is essential for this role. Additionally, you should have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, enabling you to effectively navigate complex building projects. Your ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications will also be vital in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to collaborate effectively with team members and sub-trades. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship are also essential for this position. Furthermore, the candidate must hold a restricted driver's license and have their own reliable transportation to ensure timely attendance at project sites.
