Job Description

We are seeking a Production Chef to join our team at Weir House in Victoria University of Wellington. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Manager with daily operations and preparing high-quality meals for our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with kitchen management and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Preparing and cooking food to meet our quality standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen area.
  • Being a reliable and flexible team player who can work well under pressure.

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years' experience in a production kitchen environment. You should hold relevant qualifications, such as Unit Standard 167 & 168 and Level 5 Cookery qualifications. Additionally, you must be proficient in using Microsoft applications and have excellent communication skills.
