About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to make a positive impact on young learners. As a Registered ECE Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration, as well as creating a safe and supportive environment for children to thrive.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration
- Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and evaluate programs that meet the individual needs of children
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on children's progress and milestones
Requirements
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or a recognised qualification in Primary
- Current NZ teachers registration
- Ideally 1 year minimum experience within an early childhood education setting
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand's early childhood education regulations and curriculum
