We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Instructor to join our team at Arohata Women's Prison. In this role, you will work with prisoners to provide them with the skills and knowledge necessary to maintain the grounds of Arohata Women's Prison.

You will enable prisoners to achieve NZQA qualifications linked to the Primary Industry Training Organisation. The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven passion & experience in Grounds Maintenance at a professional level
  • Exceptional people & communication skills
  • The ability to motivate and develop people within a team environment
  • A working knowledge and understanding of working with women in a work environment as a mentor and teacher
