This key leadership role will see you managing the Tukutuku Maori team, leading strategic outcomes for Maori. You'll work closely with our Amotaketake to advance our partnership with Iwi, while maintaining wide networks with Maori Organisations, Central Government, Agencies, and NGOs.

As a collaborative leader, you'll sit comfortably within our Mataaho Aronui leadership team, driving delivery by focusing on developing people capability. You'll demonstrate effective leadership, engaging stakeholders and developing strong relationships across the Council.

We're committed to supporting your growth and development through various avenues, including attending hui, conferences, team away-days, and more. Join us as we strive to integrate Maori perspectives and needs into our operations and decision-making processes.

About the Role

  • Lead the Tukutuku Maori team in delivering strategic outcomes for Maori
