This is a unique opportunity to take your career to the next level in radiation oncology. As a Regional Clinical Applications Specialist Radiation Therapist, you will play a key role in the expansion of cancer services into Northland.

Our team is at the forefront of digital innovation in radiation oncology, and we are looking for someone with expertise in Oncology OIS and TPS products to join us. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality and efficient patient care by ensuring the seamless operation of these products.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain expertise in Oncology OIS and TPS products, serving as a key resource within the Radiation Therapy Service.
  • Collaborate with IT vendors, clinicians, and business intelligence teams to enhance system performance and data accuracy.
  • Develop and implement electronic solutions to improve efficiency, safety, and integration within regional service applications.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, risk management, and service evaluations.
  • Provide teaching, coaching, and leadership to staff and students while participating in clinical audits and research.

You will work closely with our regional Te Pūriri o Te Ora leadership and contribute to established workstreams within the wider project. This includes traveling to Whangārei as needed.

We are taking a significant step forward by expanding our service to include Northland, with the construction of a new state-of-the-art radiation therapy facility in Whangārei.
