Technical Agronomist

The successful candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, with a focus on crop management. They will be effective at developing long-lasting business relationships and focused on providing profitable solutions. The ideal candidate will also be adept at using the latest technology, including mobile devices, laptops, and industry apps, with the ability to continually upskill in this ever-changing landscape.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with an established team of peers to support the agronomy program and wider categories in the region. You will also be able to provide frontline support from our technical extension team in agronomy and land production, work closely within our local retail team in the Hawera branch to support key relationships and customers, and use technology to strategically plan and execute seasonal planning with shareholders.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the rural sector, has a real understanding of farming systems, and can talk farming with anyone. If you have excellent communication and relationship building skills, we want to hear from you
