The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Siemens Automation Specialist to join our engineering team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting automation and controls issues to ensure our plant runs efficiently, providing quality beverages for our consumers.

As the Siemens specialist, you will support the upskilling of other engineers in Siemens.

We are currently in an exciting period of growth and investing in significant upgrades at our site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot automation & controls issues affecting manufacturing performance or supply.
  • Minimize disruption and downtime to plant machinery by troubleshooting and fault fixing issues.
  • Monitor and back up HMI's, PLC's, and other configurable systems.
  • Assist in developing standards for industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure changes are correctly communicated.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, or relevant work experience in automation and controls engineering.
  • Advanced skills in Siemens automation - ideally around 5 years of experience troubleshooting and fixing Siemens issues.
  • Hands-on experience with Krones machinery.
  • Understanding of Machine Safety, Process Safety, and root cause analysis principles.
  • Ability to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Clear communication skills to connect with the team and key stakeholders.

Some flexibility may be required to work after hours due to the nature of our business.
