Teacher for Students with Intellectual Disabilities

This position is seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher who can work effectively with students with intellectual disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to collaborate with colleagues and build relationships with families/whanau.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and will be able to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of these students.
The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A clean, full NZ driver's licence is also required.
RequirementsThe following requirements must be met:
- Current NZ teacher registration
- Experience working with special needs students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities (ORS funded)
- Ability to establish collaborative relationships with staff in Mt Richmond School and the mainstream school
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A clean, full NZ Driver Licence
