About The Role

This is a dynamic position for a senior engineer to join a team of passionate professionals within Wellington Waters Network Strategy and Planning Group.

The role will see you take the lead on strategic planning and delivering network investigations that will ultimately lead to improved reliability of drinking water supply for the community and environmentally safe and efficient distribution of wastewater.

With a strong emphasis on collaboration, this role will also see you:

  • Lead challenging and interesting investigations across 3 Waters networks
  • Involved in tactical planning across the regions pump stations
  • Mentor and develop graduate and intermediate engineers
  • Support the capital program and investment planning processes for our client councils

To Be Successful

You will bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification such as Chartered Professional Engineering (preferred), Bachelor Engineering or Diploma in Engineering (preferably Environmental Natural Resources or Civil Engineering)
  • Strong technical knowledge of pump stations and network hydraulics within the 3 Waters industry
  • Sharp investigative skills with a solutions focus
  • Excellent relationship management skills to compliment your strong communication skills
