Brookhaven Hospice is a premier provider of end-of-life care, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in our team, working under the guidance of a registered nurse to provide essential services and ensure patient comfort and well-being.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for providing personalized care to patients, following their carefully crafted plan of care. This includes attending promptly to their requests, offering compassionate and unwavering support, and assisting with various personal care needs such as bathing, oral hygiene, and changing bedding.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting
