Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Auckland team, responsible for driving procurement activities on a major project. The successful candidate will oversee the management and appointment of complex trades and packages, ensuring smooth processes while meeting deadlines.

The role requires strong leadership skills, negotiation expertise, and excellent communication abilities to manage internal and external stakeholders. A proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies
  • Manage and appoint complex trades and packages
  • Negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Optimise supply chain processes
  • Manage budgets and costs
  • Review tender and programming documents
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or relevant field
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Commercial Manager
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent financial literacy and computer skills
