Neutron, our next-generation rocket, will be reusable and capable of launching mega constellations into space.

Job Description

The Principal Flight Dynamics Engineer is a key member of our operations team, responsible for trajectory analysis, flight dynamics operations, and software development for mission analysis and flight dynamics suites. As a senior engineer, you will contribute to strategy development, coordinate development efforts across teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trajectory analysis and simulation
  • Flight dynamics operations and mission control
  • Software development for mission analysis and flight dynamics suites
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Space Systems, or Software Engineering
  • Advanced understanding of orbital mechanics and orbit determination theory
  • Proficiency in STK, GMAT, Monte, Copernicus, or equivalent mission analysis tools
  • Ability to work complex problems under time pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
