- To teach and assess students at scheduled monthly weekend workshops and wananga, using our online e-Wananga facility as required.
- To provide academic support and pastoral care, with a strong focus on student success and achievement.
- To develop and maintain relationships with kapa and their Kapa Kaiako.
- To set relevant, appropriate, and timely assessments, and monitor student progress.
- To contribute to the development of the Bachelor of Māori Performing Arts programme, including curriculum design and implementation.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree qualification relevant to the field of Matauranga Māori and an undergraduate qualification in Māori Performing Arts or at least 5 years' experience in teaching Māori Performing Arts.
