Clinical Nurse Specialists play a vital role in Ara Poutama Aotearoa's Health Services, delivering specialized mental health nursing services that enhance the well-being of those under our care.

In this role, you will be responsible for triage and assessment, evidence-based treatments, and integrating primary health and tertiary mental health services.

You will work collaboratively with fellow health professionals to provide vital mental health services, supporting the professional growth of your colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in Mental Health nursing, making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong background in specialist Mental Health nursing, including experience working with individuals facing acute and complex mental health issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, as you will interact frequently with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Additional Requirements:

  • Current Nursing Council of NZ Annual Practising Certificate
  • Demonstrated expertise in Mental Health nursing, including assessments and treatment planning
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
